Best Thai in the area. If you like Hot foods then ask for level 3 because depending on the chief that day you could end up sweating. The appetizers are a little on the small size but they are good. Unfortunately there is no brown rice but they will take items out of the Stir fry and add what you like more with no extra charges. Give it a try and if you are not sure about Thai eat the Fried rice

The lunch dishes here are fantastic and Royal Thai is already a favorite. But when I found myself with a very overdue pregnancy teetering on the edge of a 5 spice level was called for. Even with a nose full of spice and watery eyes my green curry was still delicious. Also, effective! Labor kicked off a few hours later after enjoying the leftovers for dinner and little guy joined us by morning. :)

Also reliable and super easy hours of operation that start at 1100 and if you call ahead as early as 1030 they will make your food ready at 1100 or even better deliver to Base. The pad Thai is really tasty and my go to meal is the panang curry. Such a great staff and wonderful little dive spot off of 98W and super close to base. They offer brown rice for $1.50 extra. So that is a healthy and quite nice option. Three adults can eat for less than $40.00 And if you order appitizers $50.00 is a quite reasonable. Enjoy the thai iced tea with your meal for $3.50 extra. Namaste

A handful of great Thai restaurants, only a few minutes apart...how cool is that?! I'm having a really tough time reviewing this place, since I've been a die-hard Bangkok Thai fan since I moved here...but I need to be clear that BT and Royal Thai are very different yet equally awesome. I go to both of them, regularly. Royal Thai is super-close to Tyndall, making it an easy fly-by for pickups. Their service tends to be a lot faster than Bangkok Thai, and they have more vegetables stuffed into their curry, which is great. You cannot go wrong trying the panang chicken curry, the pad thai, or the ka-prow chicken (ka-prow: spicy thai basil and chicken...lots of sauted onions, tender chicken, with a very unique blend of Thai flavors (ka-prow is not curry-/coconut-based). My advice: Definitely give these two AND--just a block further a THIRD Thai(/sushi) joint--Oishi Thai & Sushi a try. Get the Thai Tea at each of them...see which one you like best. ALL THREE are worth a repeat visit.

Wonderful chicken panang, spicy drunken noodle, and pad see ew! Nothing I've tried has disappointed. They have a 2 for 1 beer happy hour from 11-9. I always make an effort to eat here when I'm visiting my family in Panama City.

Well the food tasted good but the curry pork left me hanging near the bathroom the rest of the night...not fun.

Food is good, servers are nice, prices and location are great! Got the lunch special drunken noodles and got 2 fried dumplings and a large serving of food for $7.95 their spicy levels are 1-5 and a 2 was just enough but not so overbearing that you can't taste it anymore. Definitely will be coming back for more! Pace of the food coming out of the kitchen is a little slow so order ahead if you are in a hurry.

Love the green curry. My friend liked their pad Thai! They are super nice. The quantity on their take out was double what I got when dining in!

I thought I would try this place while I was here for one night. I had the summer rolls to start and the panang curry chicken (#3 spice). They were very good and the staff was real nice.
